I know that bus has a long history in London, but I don't know if there is bus in the United States. I know Americans travel by car, by air or by coach, but I don't know if there is bus or subway in cities of the United State.

There are buses in U.S. as well as subway & trains & trolley system... Other than Grey Hound, bus company for long distance trips, here in PA, there's SEPTA - South East Pennsylvania Transit Authority - They provide bus & subway system for getting around town... I've recently taken bus few times because my car was in a shop having some work done...

Some routes, yes... I'm not sure about the rest of the country but here in my neighborhood, some buses run once every hour & if I go out to main road, every 20 minutes or so... It's not too bad...

Yea we have buses and subways also. We have school buses to take children to schools, we have city buses and we have also buses that go travel to different states across the USA. We have trains also across the USA one of the biggest subway systems in the world is probly in New York City & Chicago. We have also trains that take us from different states the biggest one is probly Amtrak from what I know and buses is probly Greyhound.

Yes there are buses in the US. We have them to transport children to and from school. We have them to take us from place to place. It's not to bad on prices either. There are a few different companies but the major one is Grey Hound. They have been around since 1914.

Thanks for you response. The buses are usually croweded and run the fixed routes in our country. We almost can't live without it because most of us have no private car and the subways are not enough. I know most of the American families have their own cars, so I wonder if there is bus in American.
