Well, it is said that the holy spirit sits at god's left hand, it has also been said that the meditron (the voice of god) sits at his left hand. Then there is one more that says that the top Praetor (the highest choir of angels)sits at god's left hand. So I guess it is really up to you to figure out which one you choose to believe. Personally I believe the last one as the lead Praetor would be his top general as well. I believe that the holy spirit is too busy helping us to choose the path that god wants us to walk and meditron stands in front of god to relay his words.

LOL you know...I have gone to church since I was a kid. I have NEVER even thought about that or heard anyone else that has. I am 30 years old and this is the first time I this has ever even crossed my mind. Now that you mention it...I have no clue. I don't think it is referenced anywhere in the Bible. The Bible places no significance on the left-hand, and I have never heard anyone use the term that someone is there "left-hand man".
I actually just looked it up in an online Bible. Acts 2:33-36 state that Jesus is at the right hand of the father. There is no mention of the left hand. The right hand is considered to be a place of honor, especially in the cultures of biblical times, so you will likely not hear many references about anyone being seated at the left hand of anyone.
This is a good one...you really got me curious about a few things here. I wonder how many times the bible even mentions a left hand now...I am going to have to look...so far, I have only found two places where it mentions the left hand...

Thank you for your response.
If you think of the Chinese's Ying/Yang law of opposites...
do you think this has any bearing?
Good/bad/right/wrong/...etc?
Do you think I'm on to something here?
That would mean...that (heaven forbid) Satan would be sitting on the left?
(phylosophically so to speak....that "hell" being the "negative"...or left-hand side?)
What do you think?

I don't think that would have any bearing on the situation at all. I know that Satan does not sit on the left. The Bible states that Satan was banished from Heaven, which is where God is. Satan was an angel that rebelled against God. In return, God gave him the boot so to speak and cast him from heaven for eternity, so he can not be at the left hand of God...

if you're talking about Christianity, the Trinity is God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit (said to be the female face of God for some people)
if it's Islam, i don't think anyone sits at God's left or right hand. Mohammad is his prophet which would make him directly bellow Allah. Jesus is also phophet but a minor one from Mohammad, but still a prophet.
