The trouble with having children is that they do not come with a book, operating manual, or help desk!! My parents mades tons of mistakes when they tried to raise me. I feel like I was humiliated and scorned through childhood and suffered through this.
I feel that I have corrected most of these mistakes with my children. However my children say they are raising their children better than I raised them. What is your opinion?

Well For me it was a bit more harder considering i only had one parent from the time i was 1 years old and im 22 now so if i must say so myself i think im rasing my boys better than my own mother raised my brother and I or should i say when she actually took the time away from her busy man hoping to actually notice we was alive and breathing and wasnt going to go away. So i have to agree that i rasie my boys better than my mom rasied my brother and I.

my parents actually did pretty good raising me I think, especially since I was a "latch-key" kid. I don't have any kids of my own, but I have a step-daughter. My wife is not nearly as strict on her as she should be. I gave up on that a long time ago, not because the kid wouldn't listen, but more because I would try to instill a policy or something, and my wife wouldn't back me up on it, especially when I was not home. I eventually just figured out that it was no use, so I let her deal with it.
