My Grandpa Died This Morning...and it's supposed to be a HAPPY day...

No one is surprised by this; he's been sick for a while. It's my step-dad's father, and we weren't close, so I'm not too upset, except for one thing. Today is my daughter's birthday. She wasn't close to her great grandpa either, but she ADORES my dad, her Papaw, so she'll be pretty upset. We've decided not to tell her today so we don't spoil her special day. It's just such an upsetting situation for me. Has anyone else dealt with something like this?
