How many here use survey sites as a way of making some money online? I have made a some money and tested some products but never have made any big amounts of money off it. Would you view surveys as a waste of time?

I'm a member of a few. The sites that pay decent money for a survey don't send many, but when they come they are worth it, have had surveys worth up to $20 for 20 minutes work. Pity they aren't more frequent though :)

Yes it sure would be nice to get those $20 frequently but so far that has yet to happen. I really dont think its a way to earn steady income just more or less to do for extra spending money. One thing I have learned is never pay for a list of surveys as there are a whole bunch out there to sign up for free.

I dont think that they are a waste of time! Taking online surveys is how I make most of my online money. My two favorite sites are surveyspot and opinionoutpost. I have made a decent amount of money on both, adding up to about five hundred all together in a year and a half. I think that you should try signing up for these sites, you wont be sorry.

I am a member of a few, but it is hard to find a worthwhile one. tThe best I have gotten is $15 for one survey. And when I got to $50 on one I got a voucher and bought a box set of dvds for my fella's b'day, which was pretty cool.
