Wishing for a piano

I know, that's a strange topic header in a discussion about relationships...
Well I am wishing for a piano to fall on somebody's head. If ever anybody deserved it, this guy does.
Let me explain.
My cousin has a baby boy with a former boyfriend. He wanted to have nothing to do with the baby, encouraged her to have an abortion, even offered her money to terminate his parental rights.
She had the baby and did not accept the money. She went after him for child support.
Well this man is a family court lawyer and he has made her life a living hell. I kid you not.
He hasn't paid any child support, pleading poverty. He has hassled her for custody. He has filed motions against her so many times that she is over $20,000 in debt to her attorney (he has no attorney's fees because he IS an attorney). When she got in a car accident and messed up her spine, he hassled her even more. Now that she's lost hours at her job due to the accident and the constant court appearances, he's hassling her even more. She had to give up her apartment and go live with her ex-husband and he immediately started filing motions alleging that the ex was abusive (he's not). The baby comes home from visitation with him crying, not changed, not fed and cries when he has to go back. He tries to set her up for stuff, like one time he called and said he would be late picking up the baby, then filed a motion against her for being late. He sends harassing e-mails. Makes harassing phone calls. Now he's trying to erode her support base by deposing her friends and family. She's at wits end.
Hopefully he will lose his law license and any unsupervised visitation with the baby. But if that doesn't happen, and soon, I would not cry one tear if a piano fell on his head!

see, you do not have the right to punish anyone. god is there to take care of it. if possible, do something to alleviate the sufferings of the girl rather than think this way. always have a positive bend of mind. and yes, do not think bad about anybody. think about your good. TO DEFEAT THE ENEMY AND TO WIN ARE TWO VERY DIFFERENT THINGS. i hope you got me...

I understand, the guy is hassling your cousin with the child support and he is trying to do all he knows about the law to evade it. We can actually file a disbarment case on him but if he lose his license, then there would be no more chance to pay her the child support. I think your cousin should get a very good lawyer to help her with her case. (neildc @ red/89/1786)
