Why do guys wear undershirts?

I notice the dudes at school wear undershirts under their t-shirts. It is pretty hot here these days, so I'm sure it's not for warmth. You can see the outline of it through their t-shirts. I just don't see why they wear them. Some do, some don't. Is it bra envy? What is it?

I normally wear them to keep sweat from showing up on my top shirts, I would not normaly wear them if I was just wearing a t-shirt usualy just with my polos or dress shirts.

Wearing an undershirt or not is completely up to the guy. I personally do not wear one, and I have not worn one since I was in high school. I don't have problems with nipples or chest hair, so that doesn't bother me. I live with the persperation stains. But I do not like seeing any form of undershirt showing through, whether it be an A-shirt or T-shirt. I wear darker colored shirts, so no one can really tell if I am or are not wearing an undershirt.

I have noticed another phenomenon. Some persons wear hoses when they inside the sandals or slippers. Do they want to keep their feet clean. But it's raining here in the summer. They need not to do that, especially they need to wash the hoses everyday. So I doubt about that are they sticklers for neatness?

It has been a style since I was in Middle School. T's have a knack for showing too much skin, nipples, and sweat. Wearing a tank makes wearing a T look more presentable.

I never did that, but I think that's useful, bot just a style. Firstly, they are not afriad of hot, it's a premise. Then, the sweat will make T-shirts adhere to the skin, you know, so maybe the undershorts can adsorb th sweat, and avoid the T-shirts damped by the sweat. It will make them more comfortable.
