Colors at Wedding?

What was your colour scheme at your wedding? Or, if you're not married, what colors would you go with? When I get married I'd like to go with red and white, and have lots of red and white roses.

I had midnight blue as my bridesmaid dresses. I can actually say my bridesmaids reused their dresses! two used them for New Years Eve parties, one cut hers and used it as guest at another wedding. I think red and white sounds beautiful for a wedding.

Well it's normally pretty boring in the UK in that the bride always wears white and the men always wear a dark suit. Well not always but a lot of the time. Pictures of all things weddings here: http://www.addanimage.com/addanimage_viewlinks.php?catagory=104

My hubby and I planned a halloween wedding. So, we went with orange and silver. We're not "devil worshippers". It was just a fun holiday because we got to dress up, etc. All the people at our reception were in costume. We used to work at an amusement park together that had a halloween celebration, and thats what first sparked out intrest in doing that.

Im planning to go with lavender and white. I've always been crazy about lavender. My sis is going to be a bridesmaid and she's grumbling that she has to wear "purple" but since im going to be the bride i get to choose :p

The color of my bridesmaid dresses was "Conrflower Blue"-it was a very pale blue and looked amazing on all the girls. If it's a daytime wedding, I think the colors should be kept light and cheery. For night time weddings, darker colors are best (EXCEPT for black and red together-it just looks too "vamp" for a wedding) My suggestions: Daytime: Pale blues, peaches, yellows or palest greens. Night time: Maroon, dark blues or red by itself. Either time, I'd stay away from purples, oranges and most shades of pink.
