What is the normal Processor temperature?

I was just wondering what temperature of the CPU is considered normal. Here in the Philippines, it is pretty warm and humid and my Processor temperature runs about 50 to 55 Celsius. I think its pretty hot. I would expect around 40 to 45. I'm running an old pentium 4 3.0 HT.
