I was told that he was sentenced to death by hanging? Is this true? If so, do you agree with that decision?

Yes. You are right. I wish there was even a tiny bit of remorse but I'm afraid we will never see it.

As long as they line up some of the Israeli war crims such as Sharom as well. no problems.(Of course that will never happen since they can do as they like including making atom bombs.) There have been israeli terrorists from long ago(Such as Rabin) and nothing was ever done there!!!

I just heard that there's a search function on this website. Is that true? If so, do you know how to use it?

Yes he did get sentenced to hang, which his defense is appealing but it is very unlikely they will overtun the verdict.
Saddam has pretty much condemned himself through his statements during the trial.
Do I agree with the decision and the punishment? Yes. He murdered many, many people, mostly of his own nation. He deserves to be punished accordingly.
Someone pointed out that hanging seems brutal. Yes I agree it does seem like a horrible way to die, and I am sure it is. That is the difference in some nations laws versus the laws of more Western nations, such as the U.S, Canada, Britain, Austraila, etc ..
I feel sorry for Saddam. He was terribly misguided in his upbringing and misled many others to think like he does. However, he should have considered the consequences of his actions before he took them

The hanging part is shocking to me. As for my reasons for being here, it's for the fun and a little extra money.

I agree with it as its been a long time coming. Justice has prevailed but iraq still has a ways to go.

You are right. Iraq has so very far to go. I just hope that they don't erupt into civil war because of this. I wonder if we'll pull out in the event of civil war or if we'll be there much longer.
