OK, so I went postal at the Home Depot store today. I REFUSE to have any retail butthead treat me with rudeness in a retail store! I swear, I was so angry, I am thinking that this guy might not work there for long. The superivisor was actually SWEATING when I was finished. Got a story? Tell me all about it, I want all the juicy details.

This one I do like pookie. My story is kind of the same but also a little different in that I had ordered and paid for something which didn't arrive. Numerous emails to and from with them always promising to send etc and the package never arriving. So a couple of weeks ago I sent them another email and attached copies of all the emails exchanged between us. In that particular email I said that I would paste all of these emails into every forum that I could find as well as on their own site.
No result from that, so last week I sent one final email to the Manager plus I did make several comments on their notice board to give them a little taste of my intentions and it also meant they couldn't say they weren't warned. Nothing too bad at all was put on their site but they got the message, because today I received my package plus an apology and a credit note too. LOL
Sometimes we just have to stand up for our rights and it sounds like you did just that too. One thing I do is that if I get great service from someone, then I will write a short note to the company to commend someone. Equally if I get really bad service, I will send a letter about the treatment I received.

Good for you, I usually get such great service from them, I have only had trouble from this one fella. I gotta tell ya, I've not been that angry in a loooooooooooong time. I should send them a thank you note for the stress relief I got yelling at that guy. He kept trying to shush me, and I just got louder and louder. I'm surprised he didn't try to give me something just so I would leave! LOL

Now don't laugh at me pookie because I went back online to the website of the company I was having problems with and thanked them for listening to me. Also I thanked them for their apology and credit note plus added that it could all have been avoided etc had they been a little more co-operative. Checked back at the site now and see that my little message has been deleted. LOL
Guess they don't want everyone to get the same idea, but I have told quite a few people about what happened because I know they too were having problems. Gee, I feel really good about helping others.

You know, I work for a Home Depot, and I get so frustrated when customers have such bad experiences. It's just not that difficult to give even decent customer service, and I work in what is considered the most difficult and hectic dept. in the store. Hope you never have to be that angry with your shopping exp. again!

I shop at home depot all the time and I have had nothing but good to acceptable service there. This is the only incident I have really had to complain about. I was just venting, but when I see this guy, my blood still boils, and I refuse to deal with him at all.
