who or what is your primary influence with the poetry that you write? i love emily dickinson for the simplicity of her words and depth of her feelings. i also love sylvia plath and the intensity of emotion and rawness of her writing. i also enjoy reading haikus, short as it is, it presents both depth and vivid imagery. i guess when i write i am influenced by all these. how about you?
