Do you wear eyeglasses????

i've been wearing glasses since 11. it's not really too bad. now i barely see the top row of an eye exam chart. don't spend ur entire day on the computer.

Yes, I wear spectacles since I was 10. But then last time, there is no computer yet. I played a lot of TV game that time. Haha. Nowadays, I use computer at office hours and after work, i still stare at computer to blog. I cant live without my specs now.

I have worn glasses since childhood. Even before we had a home computer. Take a break from the computer. Nothing is worth headaches. It may be your bodies signal you need to quit early.

I've had glasses since the age of seven or so. In my younger days, I'd almost never wear my glasses, which made my right eye nearly go blind. I'm going to try contacts for the first time. I'm just waiting for my trial pairs from the clinic first.

not yet but I think I have to get this done soon to avoid the further damage to the eyesight.

yes i wear glasses unfortunately and i hate it, my vision gets worser and worser, beucase i go on my computer many times and play xbox 360 many hours, i am now thinking of doing laser eye treatment as i HATE glasses!

I wear glasses and to keep from being so close to the monitor I have to wear them to see better. I have that problem with anything that is written small and I can't see that well. After a while you will need them if you spend a lot of time in from of a monitor. Sooner or later things will start to look blurry and then you will know for sure that you do need speck. I've been wearing eyeglasses for more than half of my life.The culprit would be pocketbooks I would try to finish reading under the blanket with a flashlight in my preparatory years. My mom would tell us to sleep but I was such a bookworm that I had to finish a book in one go.When I got older, I'd finish 3 pocketbooks in one day even in school. Inside my open textbook would be an open pocketbook such as a mystery novel. Under the guise of listening to the teacher, I'd finish reading an entire book during class hours. I can rightfully claim that I've read more pocketbooks than textbooks in my lifetime and where the former would be dilapidated, the latter would be brand new.Hence, this-

well vidhya!! i wear my glasses when i drive my scooty!! just to protect my eyes!! from the dust!! otherwise no glasses!!! eat a lot of carrot!! it would add some power to your eyes!!

Yes I do wear glasses. I've worn them for a long time. I've tried contacts, but they're not for me. I wear them so much I'm totally used to them by now. And they have so many nice frames out there.

I have been wearing eye glasses since the age of 8 years. I used to play a lot of video games and sit whole day in front of the TV. In the starting you will get headaches when you wear your specks. It would take you a few days to get used to them. Even when I change my frame and go in for a new one for 2 or 3 days I get a headache.

hiiiii vidhya... me too stare at computer for long hours.....but i still dont need glasses..and i hope i wont need it in the future...but when i work in my system for hours...i get headache....but if i get a good sleep.....it l b gone....then if u work in night...or work for hours.....always take a small breaks and look something greener like plants,trees and also close ur eyes for few min...it l reduce strain of ur eyes then always rotate ur eyes up and down ,left and right...ie in all directions daily atleast once....it is a exercise for ur eye nerves...if u stare at ur system for so long,ur eye nerves dont get any exercise and its stable..so try it and do it...it is not too difficult for everyone to rotate ur eyes daily...... Hi. Yes, I wear eye glasses. I wish I didn't have to tho. I've been wearing them since I was a little girl. Now I have to wear byfocals (sp?) At first I didn't like them. I tried the ones with the lines but I hated those. So then I got the no-line ones. At first everything looked blurring and I didn't like them but now I can see good and I'm used to them. I know it's hard to wear glasses if you're not used to them but if you need them, you will get used to them and you will see better and not have so many headaches.

i wear eyeglasses and there great i start getting head aches and when i got them i chould see really clear and nice they help alot.

I became myopic at the age of nine. At that time, we didn't have these cute frames and plastic lenses. It was soda glasses, which were heavy on the nose. I really hated it when I was a kid. Then for a few years, I shifted to contact lenses. I recently developed an allergy to contact lenses, and switched back to glasses. The glasses that I now wear are different compared to the ones I was forced to wear as a kid. I have two lovely designer frames, one brown and one blue, as light as a feather. And I fit them with plastic lenses, which aren't heavy at all. They look so fashionable. If you have to wear glasses, go in for designer frames and plastic lenses. They are lighter and look good too. As I'm short-sighted I have to wear glasses only when I watch TV. In the University I wore glasses when I needed to right down something from the blackboard. To tell the truth I like to wear glasses and I have even 2 pairs of them.

I have been wearing glasses since I was about four or five. I'd be pretty much lost without them. Spending too much time staring at a computer monitor doesn't help anyone's vision that's for sure

I am not using but i doctor recommend to wear it. Because i doing the 12 hrs work on computer. But it is not problem without eye glass to do the work on computer, ya facing problem at the time of reading the papers. But we should wear it otherwise # will be increased.

Hi, I sit for a long time in front of the computer. I never wear glasses and I wish I must never wear also. Because glasses donot suit me. I never experienced such headache though I sit for hours before the computer. If you are browsing in the night times see to it that your tubelight is ON so that your eyes are not effected by the rays which come out of the computer. The rays which come out of the computer are infact the ones which affect your eyes and you feel headache. Hence, take more amount of water everyday, see to it that you have the tubelight on when browsing during night or when it is dark. And take nutritious food at all times. If you still have headache, then consult your doctor and take advice before deciding to get glasses.
