do you think manual traffic exchange help in getting referrals?

i have joined many search engines like traffic-splash, startxchange, traffic exchange etc. but i had absolutely no success at all. i join 3-5 new ptc sites every month and try to promote these sites through manual traffic exchanges to get referrals but till today i didn't even get 1 referral under me. do you think using traffic exchange is just waste of time. please share your experience with traffic exchange.

what I do is have a blog, and put it on your traffic sites so that you can get peoples to view.
I'm getting alot of views from mines from peoples from mylot, you can check out my blog on my profile.

no i think that is better a forum about earn money if in english do you not find referals you should in other languages, www.formasdeganardinero.com have a english section and a lot of people that like earn money

I admit, I got only few referrals even if I'm promoting my programs to several traffic for more than a month. And also most of them are not active. My last option is to create a blog or a lens. But it's also hard to promote it, especially if it's relatively new. We always need some luck.
