with whome a child live if parents get separated??

recently i hard a news a little boy of age 4 is struggling for his parental love.his parents r not ready to live together.thy have adjustment prob with eachother.father from southafrica wants his child to b educated in SA whras mother is not ready to leave the child.whereas courrt passed order to keep child with mother.bt according to the situation mother is veryselfish.she is just using her son to claim some more money.wht i think..thy should think of future of the child raterthn quarreling..whts ur view??

It think they both should sit and discuss about the welfare of the only son they have. God has blessed a beautiful son and they are turning to rotten him and depriving him of the parents love and affections only for an ego. They should shun their ego and work mutually for the son.

In our country or I think the general practice is that a child below 7 automatically lives with the mother because the child is considered in the stage where he/she should be with the mother. In this case that you cited, the mother as unselfish does not hold up in court. It has to be more concrete than that for the court to rule otherwise. Sadly, most of the time for children with these age are always in favor of the mother.
