I love the whole "all you can eat" idea, but when you're vegan and go to a buffet, typically you are disappointed. It becomes more of a "all you can't eat" dinner and is a huge disappointment.
But recently, a restaurant near here started doing vegan buffets. I love it! I went to one last month and I'm definitely going again this month. I can hardly wait.
Would you enjoy such a thing in your area?

I would love to have any vegan restaurant in my area. We only have a few, and none are incredibly close, but I would drive to a restaurant for that. Baltimore isn't known for its vegetarian community, unfortunately. There are only a few vegetarian restaurants, and fewer vegan ones. I would love to see a few more pop up.

They're opening another one near us soon but it's kind of different. Well, by near I mean 30 minutes away. But still I'm impressed that we have anything now. My cooking isn't much and after being a vegan for about 10 years I've gotten kind of bored with the stuff I can cook at times. Not that I could ever cook exciting meat dishes, I was even more bored back then because that was even more limiting. But at restaurants there are only so many vegan options and it is nice to have fully vegan restaurants.

There is something similar in my area that is put on by a local vegan cooking school. I've been wanting to try it. You totally just reminded me. I think it's a great idea, and they serve food other than salad. Don't get me wrong...I like my salad, but vegan does not equal raw food diet!

That is cool. I don't like salad, unless it is a very very good salad with lettuce other than iceberg and a lot of stuff in it. This place I go to serves one type of salad with the all you can eat buffet and then a bunch of other things.
They're having one again this week, I'm so excited about it.

I'm not a vegan so it's not something I would need but it is definitely a great idea for those who need it! x
