you often make wishes or give thanks to god?

this is a great topic, i usually thank god for when something goes my way, and i a times i ask god if he can help me pass my exams, and mostly when i ask god, most of my things happen, like before i joined a website to get a xbox 360 and i need 9 refs i asked god please help me gets 9 refs, and then after posting my link on forums and etc, within 2 weeks i reached my limit and received my xbox 360 in like 3 weeks! Thank god!

Hi there Manjalvaanam! I do them equally too, just like you! I have like a pattern when praying. First, I praise and glorify the name of God. Then, thank him for all His blessings and guidance. Then, I ask for forgiveness for my mistakes and shortcomings and lastly, I wish for continuous guidance and blessing for me and my loved ones.

I myself rather to make a wish than give a thanks. I always wish to God everyday in the morning. I wish to give me healthy, safe way, and lighten when I do my job. But thank's to God is very seldom I do it. So I try to do it next time. We musn't only pray and wish God to give something to us. But also thank's to God for his mercy that have been feel by us. keep post happy myLotting...

well manjalvaanam i do both equally. i do ask a lot of things from god. i keep praying that i get it. when i get it i thank him a lot. it is like i talk with him all alone in the room. till now i have got most of the things i have wished for. so i do beleive a lot in god.
