mine is not that sophisticated and fast. it's just an intel dual core E2160 1.80 GHz. with 1 Gb ram (DDR 2), i find it reliable and satisfying enough for me. as i usually use my computer for office and document works. what about you? you must occupy your computer heavy duties so that you need such a processor.

sweet processor! you could spice that up a bit with some overclocking!
I usually do video encoding, play a game in a while, and usually multi-task everyday so this processor just fits in!

when I built my desktop computer just over a year ago I got the intel core 2 duo e6420 2.14ghz just because I didnt think I needed anything more. (I was comming from an old HP desktop from like 2001) I also just got an intel board so I cant overclock. It is definitely indescribable how much faster is is compared to my old computer I had. I just know that with a quad core it would be screaming for home video encoding. I also have a laptop with a core 2 duo t7300 2.00ghz which is fast enough for everything I do on it. the main thing that slows the laptop down is vista home premium but its not bad at all with 3 gigs of ram ;) BTW my desktop has only 2 gigs of ram but has windows xp pro so it runs so much smoother :D
