I think it would be better to partition the potence. Each one take the part he is better to control.Maybe it can reduce some problems.

Hi there Riyasam!
You're right. In a relationship, both parties are always responsible for what happens. I believe that it's case to case basis and it depends upon the personalities of the couple. Some people are bossy, domineering and are naturally born leader so usually that person seems to be the one who handles the relationship.

Nobody. If everything is equal responsibility, then decision making is, too. Alternatively, it changes depending on who makes the decision, which is most likely based on who has more knowledge or such in whatever area the decision needs to be made. Unfortunately, there is never a true sharing of responsibility in the decision making area as there is always one partner who gives in more easily...

Correct, relationships should be fifty fifty in all responsibilities. I guess that term started because of who is the dominant one in the relationship, or the active roles one takes in the relationship.
Many times, men will say that their wife wears the pants, because she is solely responsible for the financial distributions. Other times the man makes all of the major decisions, so he would be referred to as wearing the pants. So I guess it is what works for you. I handle all the finances in my house, but I think both of us wears the pants
