download.com site updated!! how do you feel there now??

Well this is my day to day used site. anything I want regarding the tools I just search download.com first!!The site is updated now!!
Visually impressive, nice looks.But the problem which is now occuring, is the time been take by the site to open. Have tried even with GOOGLE Chrome. Results are he same..
How you guys are experiencing?? Same or something different.

yeah, o just checked it out.
looks nice but as you say, it was a little slow to load everything.
still my favorite site to download all my internet tools......and toys.

Yep!! Mine too; but due to loading time I am now getting chance to check out some other high profile software sites.

there's quite a few out there....i also recommend: http://www.filehippo.com/
they have a scanner that will scan your system and tell you all the available updates for programs you have.
also if you're running a newer version of a program and it's kind of buggy you can download an older version....all the way back to when the program was created.

The new site is great, but I agree with someone else's comment that the site was fine the way it is, they just need to stay up to date on the available downloads. I think download.com does a great job of providing the latest software all in one place, very conveniant.

i believe that it is more important to have new features than to update the graphics. i understand that graphics are very important for anysite. but it is very important that when you update a site it must have more features than graphics cause when graphics are loaded it is difficult to load on slower internet connection. so all this update may not be that useful..
