no, i eat loads of chocolate and i have no pimples. Pimples are caused by dirt and grime blocking your pores, did you know that if you have a black head and you dont get rid of it, it can stay in the skin for up to 20 years, gross right!

There's absolutely no scientific proof to that old myth.
Eating too much chocolate may not be good for you for other reasons (calories, sugar, etc), but fear of causing acne shouldn't be one of them.

Well, to my knowledge it is a myth.
I also saw a show about this.
It was attributed that chocolate got the blame for pimples because SOME
people tend to eat more chocolate when under stress. It is the stress that
causes pimples but the chocolate got the blame for it.
Personally, with the amount of chocolate or chocolate products I consume,
my face should be looking like a typewriter (and I eat less chocolate now
than I did back in high school and I only ever get a couple pimples at a
time at most since high school.
I have been under a stressful period in my life just last year and my face
nearly turned into a typewriter! Funny part is I didn't know about the whole
stress thing causing pimples before that incident, but only afterwards.
Anyway, chocolate doesn't cause pimples...for me and according to that show anyway.

many people agree that chocolates can cause pimples to show in their faces, but studies show that chocolate has nothing to do with pimples, it's those chocolates with nuts in them that really cause pimple breakout..i hope this stops you from being bothered by the issue..:)
