Why can't women put on a mascara with their mouth closed?

oh its because they are trying to make their eyes open wider.. if they open their mouth or make certain expressions it tightens the skin around their eyes which makes them easier to apply it to since its like easier to reach from different angles.. if that makes any sense.. lol

Opening your mouth while putting on mascara helps with the bottom lashes because it tends to 'flatten' out your cheek so you won't get mascara all over it!
I think that question is funny. I've heard it many times and it's always the same. Why can't WOMEN put on mascara with their mouths closed. I'm sure if men wore mascara, they'd understand why we open our mouths to put it on. LOL
Go on, try it! See if I'm not right.

wow that's an interesting answer and you really defend it... well It's really nice to know things we do that we didn't even notice that tickles our funny bone... haha I really don't want to try it and It's only an observation...thanks for your wonderful explanation...

Haha..thats funny, you are correct alec23...us girls can't put on our mascara without our mouths closed, I know I can't, and I don't know why we do that either..hmm.

it is one of things, i guess..
i know one thing for certain..i am going to be pretty conscious of what i am doing next time i put my eye make-up on ;) LOL!!

This is very funny. I never notice this. But yes! I did put my mascara with an opened mouth, so do my sister and mum. I don't know why, but we just did.

I always see my wife doing it. Well, her mouth is closed as she does it. She's definitely not the one who put mascara with their mouth open. I also notice my mom; she opens her mouth too as she does it. It's like her mouth is related to what she does.

hi alecz23, LOL yea that's so true. We put on our mascara with our mouth open as well as our eyeliner for the bottom lid of our eyes. I think it is cause we tend to be really careful to avoid smudges so yea the mouth just sorts of open. I would't think guys would notice though. Happy mylotting :)
