Yes Ganesh, PayPal is the secured site for money transactions and it has about 150 million account holders worldwide! So it is quite safe to add credit card to your PayPal account. Thanks for this nice topic!

That's a good question, Ganesh44. I don't have a credit card, but I did have a debit card on Paypal. I took it off because I'd heard stories about people's Paypal accounts being hacked into, so now I just use the balance in my Paypal account rather than my card. I also transfer about 90% of my Paypal balance into my bank account quite regularly. I think most people's Paypal accounts are secure, but you do hear stories. I think the 3-digits they ask for is either the last 3 digits of the long number going across the front of your card, or the last 3-digits at the back of your card. In any case, I think Paypal ask for that for security reasons. take care...

It should be but there are no guarantees. I think Paypal has fraud protection. In fact, my credit card is linked to Paypal. It'd better be safe!

Paypal is a safe online payment bank but you have to take care on your security like hacker,Password,ID. Another thing is to careful that it does not withdraw money to some country like malaysia via bank. Only send money accepted by bank.If you using credit card then will no problem but still need to read more about it and try send and receive $20 to make sure.

yes paypal is secure site. but if you are a seller of the product and if somebody chargeback on your account then paypal has the right to dig into your bank account to get the money without your knowledge. So i would not like to add the creditcard info in my paypal account. So i suggest you as far as possible try to avoid it.
