Why most youth population now were Emo?What they can get from being Emo?

I've seen many teenagers now dress like emo,act like emo and love emo songs.what they can get from being emo?Most of the photos in the net its all suicide,loneliness,heartaches,blood,skull,etc.all the emo out there opinions is well appreciated..
