How many words can you type per minute?

If you often use computers, i promise you can remember all keys on the keyboard and type fast, especially the words you type often. But have you tested how many words can you type per minuter? As for me, i usually can type from 150 to 200 words per minute? I don't think it's very fast and how fast can you type?

150 to 200??? wow.. thats unbelievably fast.. way too fast.. i used to type around 120wpm but since i've become a programmer, i kinda slowed down to 70-80wpm.

yes, while you are thinking how to code, the speed must drop down. But when you are chatting, it is easy to type fast, lol. Have a good day.

hahaha.. yeah.. i really need to watch every character i type. its quite annoying to debug an erratic program with typos rather than logical errors.. hehehe.. c',)

I don't type English words often so I just can tell you that I can type about 270 letters per minute. I often type Chinese characters and 70 Chinese characters per minute.

yes, i often type Chinese characters. I can only type about 50 words per minute using Pinyin. Thanks for your response.
