The Diary of Anne Frank is a very powerful book, dealing with a family who was in fear of their lives. It is a sad tale, the way the Frank family and their friends had to be live up in that attic never able see go outside to see the rays of sunshine other than thru the window. It's like they were living in their own worlds. If I were closed in like that I know that I'd get restless and my sanity wouldn't be able to handle the things these people in the book went through. Of course, they had to do what they could just to survive. The book made me feel for Anne Frank and the others who were with here in that attic. I admire the folks to risked their lives to get the Frank family food and news from the outside world. They are all heroes.

I first came across this book when I was in 6th grade. I didnt have the chance to read the whole book then. I saw the movie afterwards. I bought the book 6 years ago and its now one of my favorites. She's so inspiring...

I have read her book and seen the movie and it is so sad what they went through. I hope one day to be able to visit the "Anne Frank House" I want to walk through those rooms and see where they hid for so long. I ordered a CD from the website and it is amazing, it is 3-Dimensional and allows you to walk through the whole building, the part of the secret annex where they hid and the front of the building where the workers ran the "Frank" business you actually feel like you are right there. http://www.annefrank.org/content.asp?pid=1&lid=2

I have read this book too. I can't remember if it was in my philosophy class or a theology class. I do remember however that we have to read it and answer so many questions from our professor.
