Do you rate people discussion ?

Hi, all my friends.
I just know a few weeks ago, that every members can give two rate system. I rate people because they give possitive effect to me
The first one is to rate the response that been given to our started discussion, we can rate them as possitively or negatively. But I usually rate them possitively or none.
The second one is that I just know is rate the discussion that we respond. So we don't only respond to other myLot member discussion but also can give rating with their discussion. Now, I usually rate them too with possitively or none.
Do you ever notice that there is a rate sytem for people discussion.
So do you rate people in their discussion or in response? or maybe you make it both?
and what the reason for you making the rate and do you often do it?

I give then a good rating or none at all. As I wouldn't want a bad one but then you know not everyone is like that. So there you go on that anyway. I alway's give you a plus rate as you have good discussions. And I do enjoy yours. Have a nice day. Onlydia

i rate any discussion i reply to so that if i go back to it thinking i havent seen it before i can see if i rated it before or not and that is how i keep track.. i also give ratings to people that reply to mine.. but i rate positive or none.. some one would have to really be abusive to where i would ever report or minus anyone

After I know how important the rating is, I rate anybody's discussions and responses. I hope all of us will have a good reputation in Mylot. I always rate them positive, even to some diagreement posts to me. I just won't rate offensive posts. I will leave it alone and won't rate positive or negative to it.

I have not rated a discussion yet It has not crossed my mind to do so-I can't really rate someone online because I don't know them, I think it would be unfair for me to rate a discussion because I feel that it is saying to that person their discussion is not valid but my be valid to someone elese who is seeking advice- I will look into rating-If it helps earn money on mylot I will consider rating

I always rate positive but never negative in responding to my discussion after all they took their time and trouble respond to me.

When i come across posting that really hit my heart, i do give rating. Either a good one or a bad one, i will give rating. But i don't give rating regularly, mostly because I'm too excited to post a reply and forget to give a rating. LOL!

i don't know how to rate yet.. can you teach me.. i though you were talking about rating or marking best response.. but for this kind of rating that you have mentioned.. i don't think i have tried rating a mylot member just yet.. hope you could help me.. i would love to rate other people's comments.. thanks i advance!

Yes I rate comments and discussions most of the time. I rate most of the discussions I respond to, positive or none. I don't really do negative ratings, there's just no point especially when I have no intention of replying to that discussion. It's important to rate cos it affects our "standing" or stars here and it's kind of doing an "evaluation" of some sort to the user we rated which can help in the future for other users to not just post whatever nonsense they can think of but something that is actually helpful and useful to everyone and something worth discussing for cos this is what myLot is all about and that's why we're also here.

Yes, i will rate them and everytime i will rate them postively ^_^ Regardless of a new discussion or comment, i will rate them as long as i'm still comment on the same discussion ^_^ ANd if i happen to see other of mylot frenz responding to the same discussions, i will rate them positive too ^_^

Yes I rate all the response of my discussions because I think it's a good reward for all those who have taken the time to respond to the discussion.

Ya I do rate people. I was not regular in that actually. Now I make it a point to rate the discussion or leave without rating. I never give negative to anyone. I will rate only the discussion and not the responses. Rating the responses is the rare thing that I do. Only if the response impresses me a lot and if its qualified to be selected as BR I will do both for that response. Hehe. I will rate if the response is the second best also. Hehe. Happy mylotting.

No i have not rated yet any discussions but i think so it will be beneficial to rate the discussion.However i am enjoying my mylot account more and more as i am gaingin the experience of surfing the site.It can revolutionize the attitude of the people towards internet

When it comes to my discussions I will usually rate my responses positively or I will give them no rating,unless they are offensive or insulting and then I will give them a negative rating,when it comes to responding to other peoples discussions I will usually rate the discussion positively if it is well written or if it is really shot I will not rate it at all,and any comments I get on my responses,I will usually rate them positively or not at all.

helo friend: i am so glad to respond your topic.I always rate the response with postive feedback which the other people respond.and meanwhile, i always rate the discussion which other people started too after i respond. I feel it is good for all of us.of course, i think it is a good action to rate some other's response and discussion.because it stands for a good attitude we treat mylotters.keep moving.

I agree with you, I usually rate people with [+] or not rate them at all. That's because I have the belief that people are doing some efforts in making some posts or comments in a discussion. I usually rate people who answers my discussion with [+] and some of them with best responses.

Yes I know that there is a rating system existing and I do rate members based on their discussions and responses. If I like a particular discussion or response I rate it positive. I never mark a rating negative as I don't want the person's rating to get affected.
I would like to thank all those people who have liked my discussions and given me a positive rating which is why I have a 9 in my star today. So its all because of you'll and I appreciate it a lot.
