Do you cover your face while sleeping????

Hey guys.
Many have this habit. They will just cover their face with their bed sheet while sleeping. Hehe. Do you do that???? If so, have anyone advised you not to do that??? Hehe.
I will cover my face while sleeping. But with pillow. Hehe. I will have one pillow on my face. Hehe. So different right??? Lol.

Hehe. I won't do it either when its too hot. But in hot summer also, I will use blanket. I learned to sleep without covering the face. Hehe. Better now. Hehe. Lol. Happy to have your response.

Hey pillow is not worse. It doesn't suffocate when using pillow. I will just turn to one side and will have my pillow on the top. So my pillow will be resting on my cheeks only. So I won't feel suffocated. But it will sweat a lot. Hehe.

Hello,Vidyavini! It is not good to sleep covering the face.I just feel suffocated when ever I tried to cover the face.this so happens because we block the incoming of oxygen and the carbon dioxide can not find the way to escape.So we feel suffocation.Thanx.

Hehe. Even my mom will scold me if I do that. But I just got used to it. I will keep the pillow on my face. I don't use blanket to cover my face. So I won't have suffocation problem. But it will sweat a lot and will get cold. Hehe.

hey vidhya. i used to have that habit. i always covered my face with a blanket and even during the hot summer i did the same. but later on my mom scolded me a lot and i reduced that habit day by day. it's actually not good to cover up the face cause you can't get enough oxygen to breathe. so it's always better not to do that. thanks for sharing. happy mylotting.

Hehe.Even I can't sleep without blanket. I used to have it during summer also. It just sweats a lot and everyone will start scolding me. So now I don't cover the face. Still will use the blanket. Hehe.

I use to cover my face in the initial stages of my sleep,but to my surprise i will find in the morning my bed sheet will be near my feet.hehe.lol.I never understood whats behind that.But covering my face makes me to prepare for my sleeping process,once its done i guess my sheet will roll over to my feet.LOL.Sleep well!!

I just cant sleep without the blanket. I will be having the blanket throughout the night. I used to have it during summer also. That too in Chennai. Hehe. Lol. My friends will be just shocked. Always they used to ask me how I could sleep with the blanket when its too hot. Hehe. I will feel uncomfortable to sleep if I don't have blanket. Got used to it. Lol.

Yes, I can't sleep without covering my face with a pillow or a blanket. I think it is more of a mannerism, I'm already doing it since then, I really comfortable sleeping whenever I do that thing while sleeping... i don't know the reason why i do so... LOLs...

I don't know if its right or wrong but for a long time maybe 20 yrs I slept with my face covered. Every one advised me not to do that including my wife. I tried not to cover my face and was not able to for more than an hour a day. I wake up in the middle of the night and then cover my face again and go back to sleep. But then slowly I started letting off the bed sheet and now I'm unable to sleep with the covers on. It suffocates me. Of course you'll also have to consider that I'm a smoker. So that may have reduced my lung capacity.

Not really, at least I don't think so. In the winter I might pull the covers up a little further than usual, but that's about it. Well, there have been times where I kind of made a cocoon out of my blankets, lol. Those were cold winter nights and this house is very drafty. Having a pillow over my face kind of concerns me, lol.

Hiiii!!
I too cover ma face with bedspreads sometimes when i sleep to escape from mosquito bites...But ma father alwayz used to scold me if i do so.thats not good itseems.but i havent asked him the xact reason.....but vidhya i never cover with pillows dee

My husband always ask me why i always cover my face when i am sleeping, i told him that i just feel comfortable, coz if i never cover my face, feels like someone watching on me and i bothers me, i don't want him to see me how i look like while im sleeping, what if im dribbling? lolz cheers!

same here vidhya.. even me too have such strange habit of closing my face with pillow while sleeping to prevent the disturbance caused by the light.. i love to sleep like that.. but you know somethig, my dad used to scold me repeatedly for doing such thing.. i believe he dont know how much pleasure it will give..

Hehe. Everyone here said that its too different using pillow to cover the face. Hehe. I thought that I am having a habit that is considered weird by everyone. I have to sleep with my ears covered, even if it's hot. I'll put my hair over them, and I cant fall asleep unless they are covered. At times I even can't sleep unless my body has something over it, like a thin sheet. I don't know what it means, maybe that I feel safer covered?? And vulnerable not covered?? Idk...
