If people from Poland called poles,why arent peolpe from Holland called holes?

i think u have a great question rite now,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,actually the thae name"poland" came to d country as it is in one of the poles,,,,nd those who are in polar zone are called as poles.......................bt unfortunately there was no holes in the coutry HOLLAND,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,so thole peoples are nt called as holland.........................what do u think abt it?????

I'm sure some are if you add the word a$$ or b*tt to the word Holes! LOL
