I know a few posts were put up around the time that this book was released.
Now that people have had time to read the book and digest it all, what do you really think?
****Spoiler if you haven't read the book*****
Do you buy what Stephenie says about how Edward got Bella pregnant?
I bought Breaking Dawn right before we evacuated for Gustav. With nothing to do in Hope, AR I read the book in a few hours. I don't know if i was just bored out of my mind or what, but I kept thinking about the whole logistics of Edward being able to impregnate Bella. I don't really buy Stephenie's explanation.

I was pretty shocked when I read Breaking Dawn. I never expected they'd have a baby. Breaking Dawn was entertaining, but overall I wasn't happy with the end of the twilight saga.

Stephenie Meyer explained that Vampires frozen the way they are with their all of their senses enhanced and their abilities that manifested in human life magnified. So when she said frozen, everything about their humanity stayed but as I said it was enhanced.
This is how I understood it it's kinda weird to think about it but Vampires is a pigment of somebody's imagination so just about anything could happen...

Yes I do buy the reason Edward was able to get Bella pregnant. It seems plausible in their case at least. What I did find however that it only takes 15 minutes to replenish. After the first time I don't see how it could be plausible. So the other half breed's story doesn't really apply..but it is sci-fi after all lol. And the reasoning she gave for the woman vampires not being able to get pregnant are exactly right. No cycles...no way she can release eggs. Not even if she was at her ovulation point when transformed because from the moment of conception your body is changing.
Here's what I thought of Breaking Dawn :
It had the classic ending any hopeless romantic could hope for. The beautiful and lavish wedding and reception and the breathtaking honeymoon on Ilse Esme. Despite the odds - Bella getting pregnant. Finding a way to be able to keep Charlie in her life. Being able to fully walk away from an event that was surely to take out some of them at the very least. My only disappointment was that Bella didn't get to eliminate Jane and Alec lol. That would have been nice.

Well, first of all the books of Stephenie Meyer is categorized as fiction so meaning not everything she's written there are true.
Whether a vampire can make a human pregnant or not, I think at least the author was brave enough to write the last book in the Twilight series the way she wanted it to be despite of other people's criticism.
Beside Stephenie Meyer, there are a lot of authors as well who were judged and questioned because of the contents of their story.

I am looking forward to buy this book. I heard so many things about people's disappointments about Twilight movie, but I find it very very sweet and interesting where I watched it twice in the theater. Well, we have different opinions and contradicting ideas usually don't meet agreements. I am following my instinct and never listen to other people's views. So I will buy this book and watch every film about Twilight, no matter what other people say.LOL!

Umm....they dont have a heartbeat, they dont bleed (I think) but I guess something about procreation stays eternal - vampire or otherwise?
Perhaps as Edward mentioned in the first book - there is something human about them after all...only deep down.
And given that even falling in love, these feelings he had for her - hunger not for her blood but I guess for intimacy....
Maybe?

I didn't care for it either and I thought that book was a huge let down.
