I want to promote my articles but for some reason i can find anything on the helium boards to help someone who has no idea how to promote stuff to start doing so. I even mailed on of the stewards, who apparently doesn't want to help me get my promoting off on the right foot. I love writing and i strive to write good articles. For those of you that write at helium how do you successfully promote your work and increase your page views. Please, give it to me in simple terms, i'm new at this.

I sometimes post my articles here or on other sites when they are relevant to the discussion. I also put a link to my page on Helium in my profile. Email the link to your family and friends. Another option is to post an article here or on the message boards at Helium asking for feedback. Then you can improve your writing and hopefully improve your rank. Higher ranking articles tend to get more page views. Lets help each other out. Go to my profile and you will find the link to my Helium articles as well as to my AC articles. Post the link to your page here and I will check out your articles. It's not against the rules to post the links, as long as they are not referral links.

after my last comment i went to helium and immediately started reading your articles. I've only made it through two, but i've noticed something.. You have a butt ton of #1 articles. Has having all of these #1 articles had an impact on your earnings? I'm going to continue reading and hopefully learn something from you work, just wanted to commend you on a job well done.

Yes, my higher ranking articles earn me the most. Partly because of being at the top of my articles list, and partly because when people research a topic, they are likely to read the ones rated at the top first.

I've added you to my favorites, but I don't have time to read right now. I'll get to it as soon as I can.

That's funny, I was coming to the helium category to post just about the same discussion. I've been a member of Helium for over a year but never posted anything until this week. There are some tips on this page of the Helium user guide http://www.helium.com/user-guide/how-to-earn-money-at-helium/ I have 2 blogs and 2 domains so posted links to my articles on those, I also added link to my Helium profile on my myLot profile. I'm also thinking about visiting my friends here and leaving personal comments inviting them to read some of my articles - I have 4 on now. I look forward to seeing what others offer

Thank you Faith very much for your response! I've done what you have done with your mylot profile. I've also bookmarked my page to DeLicious. I think i'll try more of a social network type promotion for my work. Thanks again!

I've wondered the same myself. I have websites that host splash pages for things that I promote. That is about the only way that I know of. Hopefully some good promoters and successful Helium members will post some good tips.

Choose one or two of your best articles and research sites on the net that deal with that topic and that send out regular newsletters. Offer to include your article and make sure it links back to your profile on Helium. These newsletters are always looking for good content. Make sure this isn't against Helium rules first cuz I don't really know. Anybody else know?

I have blogs (8) and I created a link from my blogs to Helium, or you could post the Helium Icon so anyone can visit your abot me page at Helium. You can also copy paste your links in Frienster, Myface, and other websites. You can create a blog of your own, it's free. Try blogger.com. Good luck and hope your goal as a writer would be achieved, All the best.
