Is it really worth it?
I flew on a British Airways flight from London Heathrow to Vancouver last year, over in World Traveler, back world traveler plus. Sure you get the extra legroom and a fancy chef, but paying €300 over and €800 back, i regretted taking the enhancement!
Its a long flight, 9 hours, however i felt fine in economy.
My question to MyLot users;
Would you pay and extra €500 for the sake of a few inches legroom on a long haul flight?

I am a budget traveler and I always buy air tickets for economy class. I was checking in for my flight home from the Maldives and I noticed that a priority label was put on my backpack. I wondered why and I found out that my seat was in business class. I got a free upgrade and I have no idea why. I had excellent service, lots of legroom and a very comfortable seat. The ten hour flight seemed to go past really quickly in such comfort. I wouldn't pay for business class because I like to spend most of my money in the countries that I visit to line the pockets of the local people. I don't like to go on long haul flights all that much but do so because I love traveling. I can put up with twelve hours in cramped economy class and then bathe my aching bones in a tropical sea. The less money I spend on my flight means that I have more money in my destination. I traveled around the world and on the Hawaii to Fiji leg the plane was almost empty. I got three seats to lay on so that was very comfortable indeed.
