Nails anyone?

This story is not for the weak hearted or faint. :P Ok, so we're (we meaning mom, dad, mark and I) at the Chinese restaurant in town. Towards the end of eating we're waiting on my dad to get done when mark runs to grab another fortune cookie. After he opens it, he tries reading it but can't so me, my mom, and my dad all reach for the slip of paper he hands out. But we're all trying to grab it so we can read it first. :P so of course our hands all hit together. Ok and before I go on let me tell you that 5 of my nails right now are currently an inch long, from bottom to top. Anyway, our hands hit and I heard what sorta sounded like a small crack and pressure on my one inch long thumb nail. Well my mom grabs the paper first so me and my dad give up. I pull my hand back and suddenly noticed my thumb is now very uneven and jagged and broken. :P I start giggling (courtesy of also not having much sleep the night before :P) really hard. Mark and my dad ignore me but my mom is giving me a strange look. Me, well while giggling am trying to find my thumb nail. I didn't want to say anything because my dad was still eating, and I was hoping it didn't go into any food. Well my mom gives me another weird look because my giggling fit is getting out of control, so when my dad turns his head to look at something else, I hold up my thumb and point at the broken nail to show my mom, hey my nail broke and I don't want to say anything. Help me find it. Of course though, she was never good at interpreting things (no offense :P) so she just kinda laughs at my silliness and looks away and I start laughing harder. My dad gets back to his food and I'm still urgently and unsuccessfully scanning the table when I suddenly see him pick something out of his food. He holds it up and I practically lost it. :P I grabbed it from him and was like oops. :P Everyones looking at me with weird faces so I finally showed them my nail and told them what happened. My mom starts laughing along with me and my dad just goes, oh. for a minute there i thought they cooked something strange into my food. I was all apologizing to him, but couldn't help laughing still. :P Funny thing is I swear I scanned his food carefully because I was afraid of it being there. :P I guess not good enough though. :P So yeah, that was pretty much my fun experience for today. ^^ It'll either be a good laugh for sme people and makes others sick. ;) Hopefully more laughing than the other, because that would be bad. Very bad indeed. :P
