last month i found a kitten in a box at our local park one day. it was so cute so i braught them home and took care it and afterawhile i decided to keep it. I named him bobby. everyday after school i would play with him for hours and hours. i trained him to fetch my bracelet and bring it back to me and he used to follow me around everywhere but he didnt like cars that much. unfortunatly this morning i woke up and went to feed him but he wasnt waiting by the door when i opened it. I got worried so i went to outside in my p.j's to look for him. in the front yard i could see a trail of the same coloured fur as bobbies going up our street. i followed it untill i found his mangled boddie on the side of the path. i was devastated and im still crying as i write this. he must of got into a fight or something but there was no blood or anything. Im really sad but angry too. he was like my best friends and part of the familly.
In loving memory of
Bobby
the only real friend i ever had

Grieve for bobby, it's natural and it will help you feel better. Give it some time and then visit your local animal shelter. Maybe you'll find a new friend there. I've had cats all my life and wouldn't ever want to live without them. It's very hard to lose a pet, even if you only had it for a short time.
I don't want to seem like I'm scolding but kittens shouldn't be roaming outside without supervision. If you do get another cat, keep it inside until it is at least a year old and full grown. Even then, if you live in a not so nice neighbourhood or if your neighbours have dogs that roam loose, I wouldn't let it out except on a leash.

thats really sad I lost a kitten like that before I got the cat I have now as my avatar. My kitten was outside one night it was a few months old so she was getting pretty big and the next day it just never came back. I think something must have gotten it because where I lived at the time had alot of wild animals around. I really miss that kitten but it passes with time. I am really glad the big fluffy cat I have now is so loveable :) theres alot of cats out there with time hopefully you can get another one.

oh dear i am so sorry to hear about this. curse the person who is responsible for this. i don't think bobby is killed by an animal. i think it is done by someone who is worse than an animal. i've lost my cat to an accident before so i can say i understand how you feel to a certain extent. it's really heart breaking to lose our best friend. it's been seven years now and i still miss my cat. :(
