12 Angry Men(1957) is about a jury of 12 debating a verdict in a murder trial. To start with only one of them believes that the defendant is not guilty and how he manages to convince the rest is the theme of the movie. It should seen to believe how intense it can get even when the entire movie is shot in 1 room (but you never get bored). It was a broadway play made into a movie. It currently ranks #15 out of the Top 250 list in IMDB.
Henry Fonda has produced this movie and is the main character.
Henry Fonda comes from a family of 3 generations in Hollywood.
His son Peter Fonda & daughter Jane Fonda are actors.
His grand daughter Bridget Fonda is an actress now.
He was nominated several times for the Oscars but ended up winning his only trophy the year (1982) he died, for "On the Golden Pond".

It's a classic movie despite the simplicity of its setting. It was actually shown in my speech class in college to demonstrate the power of rhetoric to change hearts and minds.

It's been remade yet again, this time in a non-american language. I found the movie to be boring the first time I saw it.

I saw this movie a long time ago. We watched it in my people and politics class back in high school. I really enjoyed it and would want to see it again sometime, as it has been so long. Definitely deserving of its high ranking.
