Is it good to consume cooked food stored in the refrigerator............,,,,?

Hi friends,In todays world,most of the people cook for even a week or so and store it in the refrigerators and consume them after heating second time.Is it good for health? Will there be a change in the taste and quality of food consumed after re-heating? Share your opinions.

hi sumiirajj!!well i think eating freshly cooked food is good for health as you can consume its nutrients.while cooking for week,the food becomes stale & it loses its nutrients values also taste differs.but people who have no option let i.e.time or maid then they hav to cook for a week.i think only mutton dish is the thing that improves taste when it becomes stale.

Heat does destroy nutrients. As far as reheating being healthy, I see nothing wrong with it. Some people don't like left overs, so they take food cooked for another meal and add something to it to make a totally different meal. If the food has been properly refrigerated I think it's healthy to eat it.

Well here in our house we do eat our leftovers from the previous day or previous meal. We also store most of the cooked foods in the fridge after. I am not sure if it is good or not for your health. But personally as long as the food is not rotten I see no reason other than allergies to not eat it. I just feel bad for throwing food away that is why I want to finish as much as we can from our food.

Hi,Always make it a habit to consume fresh food. Even if you refrigerate food do it so for just one or two days but not more then that.As far as I am concerned your health will spoil by consuming food which is kept in fridge for a long time. Hence, see to it that you consume when it is fresh only as far as possible. bye now
