For me, sometimes its in bad quality... If you listen on the lyrics and if you understand it, you might notice the bad timing and the lyrics unmatches the song's rhythm... And sometimes i hate it whenever they sing my favorite songs into tagalog... its just that i can't really understand what do they mean whenever they translate it thru tagalog... how about you?

Personally I do not like songs that are translated from English to Tagalog. It sounds funny sometimes. Maybe also because we got used to hearing it in English already.

it seems to be the trend nowadays...i personally do not like it but i have the chance to listen to it like umbrella, low, clumsy...it seems that we filipinos cannot write our own songs and just make a copy cat of US and then make it our own..mahilig talaga manggaya...it is even popular here in cebu...some translate it to bisaya and make it funny...but with the same tunes.

I can't really disagree. Coz personally we also have that English-Cebuano translations here in our place. And its fun to hear them singing those foreign medleys on a vernacular lingo. But generally, i really don't like the idea. No originality.

Every body has an opinion regarding translating songs.I find it okay and i'm enjoying this songs particularly "PAYONG".It means that filipino talents are great.Tagalog songs are also tranlated in English, still remember the "ANAK" of Freddie Aguilar is translated in different language.I think there is nothing wrong translating english songs to tagalog.

i don't like songs translated from english to tagalog. it's really funny and it sounds really disgusting. it's not that i hate filipino songs, in fact i love original filipino music! i like those songs composed by world-class songwriters like ogie alcasid and all those famous ones. it's nice to have something we did not copy from others. originality is a plus.;-)

sorry, but I hate those. I don't know who's idea is that but just like lavinia (in bituing walang ningning) "binaboy mo ang kanta".. .. I don't know. this is just my opinion. I believe that Filipinos are very creative. they can revive songs, but to translate it? I don't know, but it isn't good to listen at.

Why do they have to translate it in tagalog? Can't they just make their own songs? I don't like it too, it's sounds funny every time I hears it.

You're right but one of the songs that I like from english to tagalog was the song Umbrella ...I usually sing together with the tagalog version because Ii find it lively.....especially the part of the chorus...about the "de, de, de," portion. ,All the best.

lyrics are another way to enjoy the song, if i can't understand, i will lost a good way to know it, even i can enjoy it from melody, but i still think if i could know this song, i will love this song more. if you don't like songs to tagalog, don't listen it, ^_^
