When eating in Japanese restaurants or eating Japanese food, yes. Sometimes, when I have no choice in Chinese restaurants, it's chopsticks, too. We lived in Singapore for about a year and my father insisted we all learn how to use chopsticks because he liked taking us to food stalls there where chopsticks was used as utensils. Of course, it was difficult to learn, especially Chinese chopsticks because they are slippery. The Japanese kind, made of bamboo, is easier to handle and more stable. Still, I feel a little hungry after eating using them because it takes a lot of effort to eat.

I've tried a couple times when I remember to practice with them, lol. I mostly eat rice when we order Chinese food. So I've tried a few times with the chopsticks. I do find it difficult, but not overly so. You just need to find the perfect balancing skills, lol. I think chopsticks are cool and more people should try to practice withe them.

At home, I use fork and spoon. But once in while I will use the chopstick. But when eating out if they give chopstick, I will use it. It is not difficult to use when it comes to noodles and vermicelli. But for peeling prawn shells and picking up round food like fishballs, I prefer using fork and spoon.

When I eat at home I usually eat with a spoon and maybe a fork.
But when I go out to restaurants, sometimes I may be required to use chopsticks. I can use them fairly well, but I cannot seem to hold them in the proper manner. But I am still able to grasp food pretty well.
I heard that chopsticks are a good way to train your mind and motor skills. Not sure if this is true, but no harm using chopsticks for one or two meals I suppose!
Just my 0.2 cents.

Never, but I tried them once.
It was so difficult. I was like
trying to hold the chopsticks with
2 hands. It was a crazy Experience..
