Hello I am getting higher in education but...
My problem is that I hate to read. Can someone give
me some tips on reading because I really need to read
without getting bored so much. I am aware that when
I do go to college I will have to read a lot.
Thanks, Orhan

Hi!
Glad to hear that you are continuing education, you'll thank yourself one day.
You have to remember that reading in college is not for pleasure, it's to gain information. They key to reading your materials in college is to retain the information you are reading. In an effort to do so and not get bored here are some tips.
CHUNK your reading. Do not try to read everything in one setting; trust me you won't retain a thing. You need to section off your materials, and read the sections at different times. Make sure you take breaks and do something enjoyable.
NOTES NOTES NOTES
while reading the different sections take notes. If you are not a notes type of person, take a highlighter and highlight all the important and keypoints. This is effective for Kinesthetic learners (people who like to learn by doing)
If you are not a Kinesthetic learner and perhaps a Auditory learning (learn by listening) get yourself an audio recorder and read outloud to it.. this way you can just go back and listen.. Even better just read the keypoints of your sections that way your studying the important stuff.
A lot of people don't like to read but in college it's something you just have to get used to. You can't really force someone into liking reading. I hope these tips help you..
and once again I'm going to stress that you chunk your reading. Not only will you not retain information but you will waste time and energy..ultimately leading to stress.
Good Luck
