Can money buy you happiness?

People say money cant buy you happiness but I say it can it buys me thing like xbox 360s and that makes me happy. Others will say well once your bored with it then what. Well im never bored of my xbox 360 or my computer that i bought with money or all the joys money brings me. So what do you guys think? Can money buy you happiness?

At your young age, yes, money can buy you happiness in the form of a toy like the Xbox 
However, once you have grown up you will realize that money cannot buy you happiness that is true happiness. In the meantime, enjoy your toy and your youth.

true i do enjoy my youth but Along with school I have a job I work hard for my money I earn what i buy. Can what I buy be a reward for my hard work? Along with that I also give some of my money to my parents.

That is very generous of you to share with your parents. I worked as a teenager and did the same and my mother always remembered that I was a generous child and she was proud of me for that
Yes, what you buy should be a reward for your hard work. But, I think you should remember that an xbox or other such gadget might be fun but it won't, as they used to say in my youth, keep you warm on a cold winter night. Love is sooo much better than an Xbox

NO way. I have been very poor and I was happy. Life is what you make it. Faith, family and friends are a much more important factor in one's happiness. I think material things are a temporary fix for true happiness. Have a good night and welcome to mylot

Hi friend,Happiness is the state of mind.Buying things and feeling happy for that is only instant.Even when we dont have enough money we can attain happiness.It is just in our minds and within us.Thanks for sharing.Happy mylotting.

yez, indeed it can buy some of your happiness. Like things, computers, games, clothes. house and lot, cellphone, foods etc. So it can buy the things that's makes you happy. If where talking about things. But on the other hand. It can't buy the things that we really wanted. For example, you have a broken family, does money can buy it to make your family come back to normal again? well we know all the truth regarding this matter. So live your life fully. ^_^

no money just makes you more of what you all ready are some say it brings out the worst in people i just say it brings out people if u think rich people are jerks that may be cause rich people are just poor people with money

No it can't buy me happiness but it sure would come in handy. I'm happy as can be right now without any money. I would be less stressed and at ease if I had a bit more cash in my pocket but a person doesn't need money to be happy.

hmm in a way it can, and sometimes even if money does buy you happiness it might be temporary. i dont know, i guess it depends on the individual and how you look at it. but i think that even if you're filthy rich and have tons of money but you're not happy and content with your life or dont have anyone to share it with, then it doesnt really mean a thing anyway.

For me, i think money can buy me short-term happiness but not lasting happiness.
What i mean is, with lots of money i can buy something i wanted or something i have dream of. However, it's impossible that i can buy something such as true friend, love , life and time. If i have just enough money but staying with the one i love in our little hut, it will make me really really happy. And that is what money can't buy.
