I have had two referrals to MyLot during this week alone. Now I haven't posted my referral link anywhere except my blog, and it doesn't have a particularly high page rank, so I don't think it was through a search engine.
Anyway, since I automatically become friends with my referrals, I only realised they were my referrals, when my MyLot update showed a discussion posted by someone with 1 post and which I knew for sure that I hadn't sent or received a friend request from. This guy (the first guy) started a single discussion "earn $100 per month easily!" which got deleted. I assume he got banned. The second guy appears to have been banned too, as I checked out his responses and all of them are gone.
I'm not sure if they are the same guy, but I'm puzzled over why this guy/ or guys are signing up with my referral link. If you check my blog here at http://www.writingfulltime.blogspot.com , you can see that my MyLot referral link isn't even placed quite prominently on my blog too, it's sandwiched between a few links. Anyone have any idea what is happening?
And no, I didn't find any referrals for my other links, only MyLot.

Hard to say. Sometimes people will get banned here for SPAMMING, and then they just turn around and make another account until that one gets banned too, and repeat the process.
It's possible he saw a discussion of yours here and decided to put you as his referrer when he signed up again.
Who knows ...

Well, I did think that might be the case, but I do think 2 people doing that and signing up as my referral in the space of 1 week is too much of a coincidence. And if it's the same guy, this would be the second time he's signed up using my referral link.

Hehehe..Those guys eyes some how fell on your myLot referral. Your lucky you got such referrals who had such high earnings. You must have earned a handsome amount through them.
I never earn anything through referrals. I'm waiting when I would get a nice active referral like myself who could help me in earning Lolzz...
