Are You Excited About This Year's Fall Shows?

There are apparently about 102 new show on TV this fall season. I have heard about a few good ones and about twice that many bad ones. CBS "Mentalist" might be good and I would like to check out TNT's "Raising The Bar" however I haven't gotten around to it yet. Although some shows sound okay. None has blown me away but I guess there's still time for that. What about you? Any new favorites yet?

As I said I'll be among many others and check out The Mentalist and I've heard lots of good things about Fringe. I've never really watched the X Files, so I can't make that comparison. But J.J. Abrahms is involved (I think) and though I am not a fan of Lost I have to admit that he's very qualified. But I absolutely can't stand Joshua Jackson. I will check it out, but if there's anything I don't like I'll probably drop this one first.

I for one am not at all excited by the offerings for this upcoming season or any other. I hate watching TV. It always makes me feel like there is something else more worthwhile that I could be doing with my time. I watch maybe 2 to 3 hours a week at the very most. There are also periods of time in which I find I haven't turned the tv on once in a month or more. I am a net head and that is where I spend my time rather than vegging in front of the tv.

I saw the TV guide with all of the newer shows that were premiering. And I have to say that I haven't seen anything that I am remotely interested in. I think I'll will stick to the shows I've been watching for a year or more. Most of the newer stuff is either trying too hard to be funny or it's some type of drama that might get really old quickly.
