What do you think is the most viable alternative source of energy for cars

We all love and drive cars.But the simple fact is that we live in a world of finite resources and however things turnout in future,some things are going to change.Nowadays we often seen politician,prominent figures and actors promoting electric,hybrid,liquid hydrogen,bio oil,NGV,fuel cell,solar cars.It seem like car makers are starting to look for alternate clean and quieter source of energy to replace fossil oil.Our government is studying a possible proposal to join venture and licensing deal with Detriot Electric to produce electric cars.What do you thing is the most viable alternative source of energy for cars?.Would the electric car outsold gas/petrol powered cars?This is going to be an exciting era.

With the development of technology,scientists will find oil alternative energy sources which is both efficent and environmentally friendly.Of all the new energy,I'm more optimistic about liquid hydrogen.(But for my part,I don't like driving a car,I prefer to buy a mountain bike instead.)

Hi,I think bicycle is good if the distance travelled is short.Not like in my country ,we have to travel daily 13km to work and the public transportation sucks.Furthermore the motorist here are rough and is very dangerous to cycle.The chances of your bicycle stolen is high too.We do not have much choice.

Oh,I see.It's a pity that you can only choose the car as a transport.The city I live in I think is suitable to ride a bike instead of a car although there are also lots of cars in the road.But in fact,people that riding bikes is less and less.They would rather riding a battery car(battery car is very popular useful and affordable.But I think to you a car is the best choice because the distance is long.

Hi henryjoe,
I don't think electric car will take over althoug I have seen an electric car on the road a while ago, too many fuel cars are on our roads and many are being built so it would never work.
