What's the Longest You Ever Waited in Line?

Lines are common sights everywhere, at the supermart, at the bank, at the ticket counter at the department stores, waiting for a ride,and so forth. I believe almost everyone has waited in line at one time or another. So what's the longest you ever ewaited in line?

8 or 10 hours watied in line for a train ticket was very common 10 years before, in 5 years I once have waited 7 hours in line for buying an house, it is a hardly work.

Those are indeed very lengthy waiting in line periods. Imagine to wait for 10 hours to buy a train ticket. Was it because there were then very few trains plying the route or for some other reason? I can't imagine waiting that long to buy a train ticket in the present times.

actually we watied 10 hours for asking for a berth ticket, if you want to buy one ticket for standing, it would not took more time to wait in line. but in that time, long-distance passenger train were few and slow, 1000 km maybe took 20 hours to got, so most of people want to buy tickets for sleeping room, it was a very very difficult thing in that period, if you got one after a long-time waiting, you were a very lucky person indeed.

Recently I was waiting behind a gentle man in front of an ATM.It took too long I just wondered what the person inside that ATM room was doing.I just waited and kept my decency because the person in front of me was standing very patiently.After some time I just took a peep into the glass to see no one inside that room.I told the man in front of me there is no one and that chap told that hr thought there was someone inside in a very cool tone and went inside leaving me outside fuming and cursing.That is the longest time ever I was in a line.

At a store the longest i ever waited in line was the day after thanksgiving. I had gotten up early and my sister and I went to Best buy. I knew exactly what i wanted. I ran to get it and the ran to the line. Oh MY!!! I waited for 2 HOURS just to get a box of CD-r's for free after instant rebate. :(

the longest line i ever waited is during christmas season in a grocery store. it take at least 4 hours get my turn in the casheir. The funny thing is that my credit card doesnt work and i dont bring any cash at the moment. Im glad that my sister is with me that time and got the idea of pawning my jewelries to the pawnshop inside the store. so embarrassing...

That must really have been embarrassing. I have also experienced the same or similar thing because while there was nothing wrong with my credit card, the supermarket couldn't get approval. I felt so self conscious in front of all those waiting in line. Yes, i always experience a long wait during christmas season and I could feel the glares of those waiting in line. It's good i always bring my other credit cards so i was able to use another one.
