Red or White Wine

It was my father who introduced us to wine drinking. Well, usually it was for New Year's Eve and he would have champagne or some white bubbly to toast to the New Year. I don't really drink much because I found I got drowsy even after just half a glass of alcoholic beverage. I did discover though that I simply had to pee it off and the tipsy feeling would disappear. Anyway, I got my formal wine drinking lesson from the best. A relative who is a wine importer here in the Philippines educated me. She introduced me to proper wine drinking and said as a beginner I should try out the kinds that were simple yet robust. She even let me attend a wine-tasting event she organized. I liked the red wines she introduced me to (Romanian wines), but I still feel partial to whites. I especially liked the German Reislings because it had this light fruity flavor that went well with Asian cuisine. So, are you a red or white wine drinker?
