What do you think about protesters of zoos and circuses?

I agree with them depending on the zoo or the circus. Some of them are good and they treat their animals with respect while others are just out to make a buck and don't care about the welfare of the animals.

If the animals are really being mistreated, I am all for it.
I give money for animal rights when I can.
I do believe in animal education though and I think it is important for children to learn about animals in a natural enviornment. Which kind of puts me at a crossroads. I would like it if animals were never locked up however, I am the first to go to a petting zoo and sit there all day and feed them.

Lol I can see how that would put you at a crossroads. I like petting zoos and stuff because it's a chance for my daughter to to see and feel different kinds of animals, but I'm hesitant to go to zoos and circuses because of how they are mistreated. I'm glad you give to animal rights and I'm sure the animals are too!

Animals shouldn't be kept in Zoos. So protest should be done.
But the protest that PETA does are only for publicity. They do only those things from which they will get publicity.
Tell them to come on ground.

What about animals that were orphaned or ones that were bred in captivity and cannot be returned to the wild or they will die? Where should they go? I do agree with you that some protests are neccessary, not just the ones that get all the publicity. Thanks for responding!
