Ready boost

Does anyone use ready boost to speed up there vista, and if you do have you noticed a difference in your computer performance? I use it and I can notice a difference in my computers performance.

i have not tried the vista but you might have heard about the similar version for windows xp (i don't know if it is official or not). i have noticed that it doesn't not do anything.. in fact i have also heard from one of my friends that it damages the ram of the computer. so i discontinued it. even if it does increase the performance it is surely negligible.

I use xp, i am getting used to it, Vista would take too much in my computer, I would like stay what it is in my pc.
