I'm so excited!

I've been an avid crocheter and cross stitcher since I was a little girl. Along the way I've picked up jewelry making and loom knitting. Several months ago my mom gave me a wooden crate she's had since I was a little girl full of all of her cross stitch supplies. I decided to clean it out yesterday and it was a gold mine! Not long ago I bought a pattern book with wedding samplers in it as my brother is getting married next weekend and I've been in a panic because I haven't been able to find it, and to be quite honest, the funds just aren't available to buy another one. I was cleaning out this wooden crate yesterday and came across a bunch of pattern books. I was paging through them one by one, they are at least 20 years old and it was interesting to see what was popular then. I came across an issue of "Just Cross Stitch" magazine, the Jan/Feb issue from 1984. I flipped open the cover and there was the PERFECT wedding sampler to stitch, so much better suited for the couple I'm making it for. I'm so excited! I'm starting it today, so hopefully I'll have it done before the wedding next weekend! Have any of you ever come across something like this?
