I prefer cats for severeral reasons. You don't have to routinely bathe them, though some actually like it. They also require far less maintenence and they don't stink up your lawn with droppings. They just go in a litter box and if you se a litter liner they are easy to clean up after. I also find that if they bite you, it doesn't hurt as much as if if a dog bit you and cats are less likely to be vicious. They are also smaller and it doesn't half kill me to pick them up, though they are picky eaters. That's the only good use for a dog...as a garbage disposal and a floor cleaner!

I like cats. They can't hurt you as much as dogs can, and are very curious and acrobatic. It's very entertaining watching my cat Whiskers get on to the roof by climbing a series of narrow ledges and then making a seemingly impossible leap at the end.
I'll admit that dogs are fun in the way that you can teach them tricks and play fetch with them, I enjoy cats more. I love the way they climb onto me, and knead me before curling up and going to sleep...
Though I've never had a dog, so I wouldn't know...

When I was a child I loved having cats and now I am grown up I have dogs. My dogs are miniature poodles. Secret is mainly white with black patches and Magic is black. I love taking them out for walks in the country and along the coastline. Most other breeds of dog make me sneeze and poodles are a non moulting breed that I get on really well with. Cat fur makes me sneeze but I didn't find out about my allergy until I was sixteen years old. I love cats and dogs equally.

I like a dog one. But not all dog I like. I usually love tiny dog. It looks more funny and not make me scare. You know that a big dog like police dog. It's very fierce and his face rather to scare me. I don't have a dog as my pet now. I hope I can find one soon.

I have both and like both for different reasons. I like the gracefulness of my cats. I like the loyalty of dogs. When someone rings our doorbell or is on our front lawn, my dog barks to let me know. When I am home alone, it is comforting to know that my dog is with me. I like that cats are low maintenance. I do have to clean the litter box, but I don't have to take them outside. I do have to take my dog out, even when I am not feeling well. At night, when I get into bed, usually one of my cats will curl up with me and purr. I find that sound very relaxing. My cats and dog are all great companions and are all playful. I can't imagine living without any of them.

I have to say I perfer both. My fiance and I have both dogs and cats. And we love them all dearly. I can't just say that I perfer one of the the other as they are so different in everyway. Even the cats that we have all have different personalities which make them all special in their own way.
