Easy question :P
who are your heroes or the people you look up to/ aspire to be like.
Mine are -
Tim Burton
Possibly the greatest man alive, he has the most amazing imagination and i would love to be able to think like he does
Shirley Manson
Shes the lead singer in a band called garbage, She was bullied in school and used to cut herself and got depression from it, yet then she went on to become and icon in the 90's
Dr.Zoidberg
I know hes not a real person but i think hes amazing the way that he has nothing but he still smiles and jokes about everything

Sorry, Oogie, but Tim Burton would be horrified to be called a hero. Yes, he does have an amazing and creative imagination, but he's not a hero!
Can he be compared with Maya Angelou, Mother Teresa, Dr. King, JFK, Thomas Paine, or any number of historical greats?

He's a hero for me because i aspire to be like him.
People have different opinions, the people you mentioned may have done great things but i dont aspire to be like any of them.
Plus i doubt anyone would be "Horrified" to be someones hero.

Good point! I'm sorry if I came across as condescending. Tim Burton is a wonderful role model for an aspiring auteur.
Sure, he'd be flattered, but I've seen him on interview programs, and he doesn't seem to think his talents are very important in the scope of things.

I'm going to say Obama because if it weren't for him I would still have very little interest in politics, history, and our country. Plus, doesn't he have a great smile? Also, Dr Phil, because I want to be a psychologist one day, and he helps people. But normally I do not really look to other people very much when it comes to this.
